Specola Collection

In Florence, I had a professor who focused on teaching us her methods for allowing our creativity to take charge in our projects. For our final project, she took us to the natural history museum in the city and told us that we had an hour to come up with inspiration for a 3-10 look illustrated collection. She emphasized the need to draw from life and look for unexpected pairings. We were also instructed to take photos that we were to use later in a collage to help us experiment with silhouettes. The drawings I made in this collection are definitely the wildest I have ever used silhouette in my designs.And I think I captured my inspiration into garments exceptionally well.
